Become a sponsor!

Sponsor Banners are 468w x 60h pixels and are limited to 25 kbyte in size. Multiple banners may be placed in rotation on a single sponsorship, up to a practical maximum of 4 per ZONE.

 

Tiles are 125h x 125w pixels and are limited to 12 kbyte, and Skyscraper Tiles are 375h x 120/125w pixels or 500h x 125w pixels and are limited to 25 kbyte. Multiple tiles may be rotated, up to a practical maximum of 3 per ZONE.

 

If you also supply a Leaderboard Banner (728w x 90h) and/or Boombox Tile (336w x 280h), these larger sizes will automatically display to readers viewing at higher resolutions, at no additional charge.

 

Acceptable formats are JPEG, GIF, or Flash animation, with a recommended maximum file size of 100 kbyte. Sponsors using Flash animation should be aware that a reasonable percentage of EN-Genius readers are known to block Flash content. Sponsors using Flash artwork must contact EN-Genius for Flash artwork guidelines in order to ensure acceptable results, and must also provide backup GIF files in the event that submitted Flash content proves unresponsive or incompatible. We reserve the right to select workable, responsive artwork files.

 

EN-Genius does accept Doubleclick code, in the following sample format (125 x 125 tile is illustrated):

Please provide appropriate code for each piece and size of creative you submit. We do request backup artwork files wherever possible, as there may be occasions when Doubleclick files fail to load or significantly slow site performance.

 

In keeping with the site’s technical nature, EN-Genius does not at this time accept “rich media” such as page-turns, expandable banners, interstitials and “floaters,” as we feel these interfere with reader access to content.

 

URL links for all creative should be to a trackable, live page on the sponsor’s own site. EN-Genius recommends assigning a unique URL for each unique piece of sponsor art, to ensure maximum tracking and accountability.

 

When ZONEs host shared sponsors, artwork is rotated randomly between all sponsors upon page loading, in proportion to each company’s sponsorship level. We do not accept timed rotation as we feel this imposes an undue restriction upon all sponsors on a given ZONE to confine their animations to a single, common duration.

 

New creative material and link changeouts require 5 working days from receipt of new artwork, but we will implement changes more speedily whenever possible. When a sponsor’s commitment is due to begin and artwork has not yet been received, Publisher reserves the right to prepare and temporarily substitute generic artwork featuring the sponsor’s logo and linking to the sponsor’s primary landing page until artwork is provided. Publisher also reserves the right to reject material which it considers misleading or otherwise fails to meet site criteria.
