Input Amplifiers
The equivalent circuit diagram shown below is that of a typical detector and a readout charge (transimpedance) amplifier. A quick circuit analysis is in order here, as it is important to show the difference in signal amplification on one hand, and noise sources and its amplification on the other, in order to understand the constraints and influences of each circuit component for system optimization.
