Auto-Zero Noise Filtering Improves Instrumentation Amplifier Output
by Maurizio Gavardoni, Product Definer, Maxim Integrated Products Inc.

A simple technique reduces the output noise of an auto-zeroed, indirect-current-feedback instrumentation amplifier (IA). IAs amplify small differential signals in the presence of high common-mode voltages, and some applications require very high-precision IAs with ultra-low offset and drift, low gain error, and high CMRR. This article encourages designers to consider autozero amplifiers for such applications.
